DIY Camp Half-Blood T-Shirt

Hello Everyone ! Today, I'll be presenting a post on how to make a Camp Half-Blood Shirt for all those Percy Jackson lovers like me !

Material Needed
  • Black Sharpie and/or black fabric paint
  • orange T-shirt of Hoodie
  • Paper
  • Thick paper or carton (can be cut from cereal box)
  • Pencil
  • Paint brush if using paint
  • Safety pins or sewing needles

1- Draw on a piece on normal white paper the Pegasus and Camp Half-Blood in Greek style writing with pencil. This will be your stencil.

2- Find a orange T-Shirt of Hoodie if you like. Place a piece of thicker paper or carton on the inside so the paint doesn't go on the back of the shirt.

3- Place your stencil over the front of you shirt and pin it with safety pins or sewing needles.

4- Take you black Sharpie and trace over the lines you did with your lead pencil. Don't fill in the Pegasus or the inside of your letters if you did them like I did. Trick: you want the permanent ink to pass trough the paper and onto your shirt so go slowly and pass over a few times.

5- Now you've got fine black lines on your shirt and it may not look wonderful. That's normal. Now you decide whether you fill in with sharpie or with fabric paint. I recommend fabric paint because the Sharpie wears off even if its is permanent. Also, in the washing, it spreads all over the shirt. I speak with experience. ;)

6- Paint over your design with a paint brush. Then, the things you have to do in order the paint stays, vary from one paint to another. So read the bottle.

7- Wait for it to dry and then there you go ! You're done !

This is what mine looks like !
