Chemicals That Are In Commercial Shampoos

Hey, Hey ! 
Today I wanted to expose all the horrible chemicals that are hidden or sneaked in shampoos with an unknown identity. Commonly, people have no idea of how harmful commercial shampoos can be. Today I will list a few harmful ingredients that I found in my "supposed-to-be-natural" shampoo. Am I'm scared to even search up cheap shampoos. 
One day, I sat down, took my shampoo bottle in my hand and slowly looked up every ingredient in the bottle. So here you go. May I remind you that these are only a few!!

Potassium Sorbate: It is commonly used in wine making, beauty products and as food preservative. It is a chemical that prevents mold and the growth of fungi. Being scentless and tasteless, it is a popular preservative. Recently two studies showed that potassium sorbate can be toxic and probably has significant effects on the human body. One of the studies suggested that it can damage white blood cells and can damage genetic information causing mutations and even cancer ! The other study found even more dangers in potassium sorbate! When it is combined with ascorbic acid, it causes activities that damage the DNA. Ascorbic acid is also known as vitamin C.

Bad Alcohols:
SD Alcohol 40

Ethanol
SD Alcohol
Propyl
Porpanol

Isopropyl 

They are usually the short chain alcohols and are very drying. Used to help products evaporate quickly!

Sodium Benzoate: This ingredient is also another dangerous preservative found in food and cosmetics. It is also known as E211. Sodium benzoate is a very effective preservative because it is easily dissolved in water. This preservative can deprive the cells or oxygen. It can also break down the immune system and cause cancer. Choking out the body's nutrients on the DNA cellular lever, it deprives mitochondria cells of oxygen which shuts down these important cells. Oxygen is important to our body and cells so we can fight diseases and all sorts of cancer. Sodium benzoate is used because it is the cheapest way to preserve goods. 

I hope now we can spread this awareness on chemicals so people can stop buying these terrible shampoos ans start reading the ingredients.
